Fender Super Champ X2
The Fender Super Champ X2 is a very powerful amplifier with a great deal of depth and sound. Although housing enough firepower to give you the tonal diversity you need, it is relatively compact and lightweight. The Super Champ X2 has all the equipment you need, whether you're playing classic rock or blues or you want to turn it up a notch with shredding metal solos.
With two 6V6 power amps and a 12AX7 preamp, it is an all-tube driven amplifier. The speaker is a 10" celestial Fender speaker specially designed, which is clear and robust. Due to the pure tube power, it has quite a bit of gumption and strength for a small amp."
You can zero in on the kind of sounds you are looking for with 16 different amp voices. It has a wide range of voices, ranging from traditional models of Tweed and Blackface to heavy metal. You are not compartmentalized into a single genre, enabling you to completely explore your musical expression inside the Super Champ X2.
You also get your choice of 14 different digital effects along with the 16 voice versions. All the basics are available, including delay, reverb, tremolo, and flanger, plus a few more. You can use any of these effects to produce a sound that is perfectly suited to the music you come up with.
Using a USB link, or directly through the line out, you can connect the Super Champ X2 to your recording unit. If you record or play via a live sound system, you can connect directly or be "mic'd up" to use the tone of the speaker via the sound system.
A jack footswitch allows you to plug in a footswitch and navigate between the channels seamlessly. For songs that require a wide range of tone styles, you can easily go from a clean to an overdriven tone.
The classic Fender style in black and silver gives the Super Champ the retro feeling loved by all Fender lovers. It weights 24lbs and measures 15x17.5x9.2. It is light enough that it can be taken from room to room easily and should be loud enough to keep up with a live band. The Super Champ X2 should have the strength you need if you're playing small gigs, training at home, or recording in the studio. For big gigs, it might not be loud enough, but for smaller ones, it's plenty.
With this amount of tonal capability, it is moderately priced for an amplifier, ideal for beginners, amateurs, and professionals. The Super Champ X2 could be the best way to go if you need a tiny practice amp that can give a huge amount of tonal depth and flexibility.
